The natural aroma of the musk is very complex and, as a rule, it can be described with very different attributes, even contradictory, from sweet - creamy to powdery and rich, or even woody.
 
Top notes are coffee, hazelnut, saffron, ylang-ylang and rhubarb.
Middle notes are rose, tobacco, tonka bean, patchouli, and sandlewood.
Base notes are siam benzoin, fir resin, indian oud and guaiac wood.
